A message to our customers about COVID-19

March 16, 2020

To our valued customers:

At Mochidoki, your health and safety is our top priority. With that in mind, I wanted to proactively share the steps we're taking in light of the growing concern around COVID-19. We are taking every measure to stay prepared, and to continue sharing the joy of mochi ice cream.

In addition to our existing Department of Health-compliant sanitization and safety practices in both our production facility and brick-and-mortar store, we are:

  • Providing hospital-grade sanitizer to all employees and guests
  • Increasing the frequency of sanitation of common spaces throughout the day, using sanitizing products recommended by the CDC and proven to kill viruses
  • Continuing to monitor CDC and WHO advisories and adjusting our strategy accordingly to best ensure the safety of team members and our communities
  • Encouraging all employees and shop guests to stay home if they're feeling under the weather
  • Enforcing a strict business travel policy
  • Maintaining a dedicated task force to ensure the health and safety of our team, partners and customers

  • Our business remains open, and we are continuing to ship across the East Coast from our website.

We will continue to monitor the situation and advisories from public health agencies such as the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO) closely. We are committed to keeping you informed of our status, and, as always, our top priority is maintaining the health, well being, and safety of our customers, communities and the Mochidoki family..

Thank you for your continued support and confidence in us.

    Sincerely,

    Ken Gordon
