We kindly offer 2 flat-rate shipping options of $15 or $30, depending on the shipping destination. Once the minimum order requirement is reached, you may order as many mochi packages as you like --- and pay the same flat rate shipping price, even up to 500 pieces!

Frozen products shipped via FLAT-RATE SHIPPING arrive 1 to 2 days after being shipped, depending on the shipping destination.  At the time of checkout we will inform you of the exact date your shipment will be delivered. Our frozen mochi will never be in transit more than 48 hours.

Should you be in a hurry and absolutely can’t wait for your mochi ice cream to arrive, we also offer a UPS Next Day Air option.  The cost for UPS Next Day Air is determined at checkout.  Mochi ice cream shipped via UPS Next Day Air arrive the day after being shipped.

STANDARD SHIPPING SCHEDULE

Mochidoki ships its frozen desserts on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (an exception for Thursday shipping is reserved for the UPS Next Day Air option only).

We do not ship our product for arrival on Saturday, Sundays or Mondays.

One important note is that due to the frozen nature of our product, it can never be in transit over the weekend.  Therefore the shipping destination, shipping method desired, and day and time when your order is placed, will all play an important role on when we ship your order and when the package gets to its final shipping destination. 

Upon checkout we will let you know what day of the week your order is expected to be delivered.

 

Some important things to consider when placing your order:

  • All orders placed before 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday will be shipped on the same day.
  • All orders placed after 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Monday and Tuesday, will ship the following day.
  • All orders placed after 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Wednesday may not ship until the following Monday, depending on the shipping destination and shipping method selected. ***Once again, at checkout our website will let you know which day of the week your order will arrive, based on your preferred shipping method of Standard Flat Rate or UPS Next Day Air. ***
  • If you place your order before 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Thursday, and you choose UPS Next Day Air —your order will be shipped on Thursday for an expected Friday delivery, which will include an additional charge for UPS Next Day Air.
  • All orders placed on Fridays, Saturday & Sunday will ship the following Monday.
  • We don’t ship our product for arrival on Saturdays or Sundays at this time.
  • Because this is a perishable item, we authorize UPS to leave all packages at their shipping destination without a signature. Therefore, the person need not be home to accept it. We do this because multiple delivery attempts or delays may pose a risk of your product arriving melted.
  • If you’re sending ice cream as a gift, you’ll need to make sure your recipient is going to be home so they may put the mochi ice cream into the freezer as soon as possible.

 

We only ship to physical addresses within the continental United States, via UPS. We do not ship to Hawaii and Alaska at this time. We do not ship our product internationally. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, DPO’s, APO’s and FPO’s at this time.

Our mochi ice cream is packaged in our specially designed insulated case packs with a large quantity of dry ice to keep our product perfectly frozen through the evening of your expected delivery date. Interestingly the inside of our cooler gets colder than any home freezer at close to -100 below zero.

Our frozen mochi will never be in transit more than 48 hours.

For individual flavors, our mochi comes in 10 piece packs. All our individual flavor packs are carefully packaged in resealable pouches to ensure freshness and consistency in flavor and quality. For collections box sets, our mochi comes in a 4 piece gift box. Each box is lined with a candy pad for added protection.

Because we ship our mochi ice cream in dry ice, which dissolves over time, our frozen product must reach their shipping destination within 48 hours to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Depending on where your order is shipped to, we ship your product via UPS Ground. If we are unable to ship your order via Ground, it must be shipped by Air, which unfortunately costs more.

Since we ship from our east coast facility, we need to raise our minimum requirements for transcontinental shipping, which must always go by Air, and always costs more. But as a courtesy to our customers, beyond your zone shipping minimum, you can order as many “10-piece mochi packs” as you like, for the same flat rate shipping charge.

Yes, it is either $40 or $80 worth of product. Your minimum order is based upon the shipping destination. You can find out more about our shipping options and minimums HERE.

Our mochi ice cream can only be delivered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.

We ship from our mochi factory in Bergen County, NJ.

Yes, you will receive a notification by email with your UPS tracking number when your order ships.

We can cancel or make changes to your order up until 24 hours prior to your ship date by calling (212) 684-0991. However once your order is shipped from our facility it cannot be cancelled or rerouted, due to the perishable nature of our product.

SHIPPING & REFUND POLICY

We’re absolutely sure you will fall in love with our premium mochi ice cream, and have worked tirelessly to put all the mechanisms and safeguards into place to make sure our mochi ice cream is delivered to your door in perfect condition. In order to achieve this goal some cooperation and teamwork between the shipper (ourselves) and the receiver (yourself or the gift recipient) must take place, so please take a moment to review our shipping schedule and shipping FAQs page before ordering by clicking here.

If our product is not matching the expected quality, please send us an email to info@mochidoki.com or call us at (212) 684-0991 and we’ll do our best to sort things out. We have consistently had close to 100% satisfaction, so we are confident you will be satisfied as well.

Some important things to consider when ordering our product. Please note that due to the perishable nature of our product, we do not accept returns. Upon checkout let you know the expected delivery date of your package based on the shipping option you choose. Additionally you will receive an email notification with a UPS tracking number when your order has shipped. Please remember that all shipments, will arrive either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. We do not ship our product for arrival on Saturday, Sunday or Mondays at this time.

At checkout, please check and double check that the shipping address is correct. Because we are shipping ice cream, a highly perishable item, we are not responsible for a package that is delayed or marked “undeliverable” due to an incorrect address given to us. Please note that an order cannot be cancelled or rerouted once it has been shipped. Multiple delivery attempts may result in your ice cream arriving melted, which is not a good thing. If you solely decide to cancel or reroute the package after the product has been shipped, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund your purchase. Because this is a perishable item, we authorize UPS to leave all packages at their shipping destination without a signature. Therefore, the person does not need to be home to accept it. We do this as multiple delivery attempts or delay may pose a risk of your product arriving melted. We are not responsible for stolen packages.

Please make sure to put our product directly into the freezer upon its arrival. We are not responsible for improper handling and storage after the product has reached its delivery destination. If a product arrives damaged or melted for any other reason, please notify us within 24 hours of its date and time of its arrival, we will be happy to replace your order or issue you a refund.
