A Letter From Our Founder - Ken Gordon

Welcome to the Mochidoki Foodservice blog, a space for our amazing chefs, restaurant owners, hospitality professionals, caterers and all of our partners serving mochi. 

Since we first launched our business, Mochidoki has been working hard to create the perfect mochi experience, using only the best ingredients, refining our recipes and enhancing our production process until everything was absolutely perfect. I’m proud to say that today, our product is being served in some of the finest restaurants across the country. 

This blog is dedicated to all things mochi … from industry trends to innovative serving ideas and upcoming flavors. We’ll also be spotlighting all the ways we can continue to support you and your business, like the brand new wholesale website and ordering portal we launched last month. 

By now, I hope you’ve all had the chance to test drive the new, streamlined Mochidoki ordering process and see first hand how easy it is to use. Now you can get automatic updates on the status of your orders and shipments; look up past orders; keep track of new flavors and see what’s in stock. 

And of course, we’re always standing by ready to assist you when you need us. The Mochidoki team has been fortunate to have added a few members, including our Customer Success Director, Kaitlin Harkins, who currently leads our Food Service initiatives.

I’m sure many of you have already gotten the chance to speak with Kaitlin, as she has been working directly with our wholesale customers. We are always looking for ways to help and support our restaurant partners. Along with our wholesale ordering portal and FS blog, Kaitlin has been working hard on our new to-go packaging, created to help our restaurant partners who were limited to take-out orders. 

Although this past year has been challenging for so many of us in the Food Service industry, we are honored to have been here to assist you along the way. And we’re equally happy to see so many of you returning, re-opening and re-energized, ready to welcome your own customers through your doors once again. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything that Kait or I can do for you in the coming months.
