ABOUT OUR MOCHI

Mochi (pronouced mo-chee) is a Japanese-inspired rice dough -- this is the outter layer of our mochi ice cream. Our mochi is crafted by our chefs and made with the highest quality of mochiko flour. The flour is first steamed and then carefully kneaded until it becomes delightfully chewy and soft. Once it meets our standards for quality and taste, the dough is then wrapped around our creamy ice cream for an enchanting combination of flavor and texture.

Mochidoki is a word we invented to describe our delicious mochi ice cream ... loosely translated, our name means "Mochi-time!"

Each piece of mochi is approximately 2" in diameter, 1" high and 1.25 ounces, or 34 to 35 grams. Each piece can be eaten in two or three bites.

You can purchase a single flavor of mochi with 4 or 24 pieces per box. Additionally, we offer our curated Signature Collection which contains 24 pieces, two each of our best-selling flavors.

You can buy our delicious mochi ice cream online here, at our retail stores in New York City, or select fine dining restaurants nationwide.

Gift cards are available to purchase online as well as in our retail locations.


Electronic gift cards (available on the website) may only be redeemed online for products sold on the website; minimum purchase and shipping rates apply. For assistance with electronic gift cards, contact info@support.com.

Retail shop gift cards (available only in our retail shops) may be redeemed for food and beverages at participating Mochidoki locations. Retail shop gift cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged.

Both types of gift cards are not redeemable for cash and no change will be given. All gift cards are valid for 5 years from date of purchase. Use of card constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Mochi ice cream does not typically contain eggs or egg products. However, it is always best to review the ingredient information on each individual product page to determine whether our products are safe for your specific sensitivity or allergy.

Almost all of our mochi ice cream flavors are indeed gluten-free. We do offer several vegan options -- we'll include "Vegan" before the flavor name so there's no confusion, such as "Vegan Chocolate Hazelnut" and "Vegan Lychee".

We are not Kosher Certified (updated 01/01/2021). 

SHIPPING

If for any reason your package is delayed and your product arrives in less than perfect condition, simply contact us within 24 hours of the delivery time with your order number and a photo of the package. Our customer service team will promptly review your order for a replacement on the next available shipping date.

 Yes! We ship to all of the contiguous United States and the District of Columbia. We do not ship internationally and we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, DPOs, APOs and FPOs at this time.

Our mochi ice cream is packaged in our specially designed insulated case packs with a large quantity of dry ice to keep our product perfectly frozen through the evening of your expected delivery date.

Our frozen mochi is typically in transit for 24-72 hours, depending on the type of shipping selected, delivery location and pending circumstances outside of our control due to FedEx holiday schedule changes and delays.

For individual flavors, our mochi comes in 4 piece boxes. Our signature flavor collection includes 2 of each of our 12 best-selling flavors for a total of 24 pieces. 

We offer flat-rate and free shipping based on location -

$10 for Zone 1 states, with Free Shipping over $100 (AL, AR, AZ, CA, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV)

$30 for Zone 2 states, with Free Shipping over $200 (CO, IA, ID, KS, MN, MT, NE, ND, NM, OK, OR, SD, TX, WI, WY)

*NOTE: Some states require 2 day air shipping to ensure your mochi arrives in perfect condition.

We ship our mochi from our state-of-the-art facility in New Jersey to strategically placed distribution centers across the country. Once you place your order, we'll select the nearest distribution center to you, so your mochi can be delivered as quickly as possible.

If you would like your mochi to arrive on a certain date, you can use our delivery date selector at checkout.

Once you've placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. When your order is ready to ship, you'll receive a second email with your tracking number (if you do not receive your confirmation email, please contact info@mochidoki.com).

Once your order has been processed, we cannot modify the delivery address, as the carrier requires one business day to process the change, which in turn, delays the package. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are not responsible if the package then arrives melted due to an address change.

REWARDS PROGRAM

Joining Mochidoki Rewards is simple! Simply create an account and you'll start earning for every purchase you make. You'll also get points just for becoming a member, on your birthday, when someone you’ve referred makes their first purchase and more (learn more about how to earn points here). Once you've signed up, you'll have full access to Mochidoki’s VIP rewards. Each time you come back, make sure you log in to our site to track your progress, your transaction history and redeem offers with your points.

Your points expire 12 months after your most recent order. For details see our Terms & Conditions (Article 3.6)

Once you’ve logged in to Mochidoki.com, you can check your point balance by clicking “Rewards” in the header of the website

Earn points each time you make a purchase on Mochidoki.com -- you can also earn points for various activities (see a list here). You’ll earn one point for every dollar you spend (and more if you've earned entry to a higher tier), excluding all discounts, shipping fees and taxes (rounded down to the nearest dollar). Please allow 48 hours for your points to appear on your Account page. You can earn points even when purchasing E-Gift Cards, however, you will not earn points when redeeming an E-Gift Card. Points can only be earned on products purchased on our website (http://mochidoki.com).Purchases made at pop-up and/or brick-and-mortar locations will not accrue points.

You can redeem your points for more mochi at Checkout. Once logged in and ready to check out, you will see a selection of products eligible for redemption (minimum $60 spend is required before you can redeem points). Discounts are not applied to shipping fees and taxes. Products will be added directly to your cart, however, you must have additional items ($60 minimum purchase) in your cart for you to redeem your points for additional mochi.

Mochidoki Rewards are separated into 3 tiers based on your cumulative spend over 12 months - Silver ($60-$239), Gold ($240-$599) and Platinum ($600+). Your cumulative spend amount will move you through statuses for more rewards and benefits. The cumulative spend amount includes all orders made on our website , excluding E-Gift Card redemptions. Purchases made at pop-up and/or brick-and-mortar locations will not count towards your cumulative spend amount. Please note, points are valid for 12 months from the date of your last purchase.

Once logged in, you can check your tier on your Rewards account page.

No problem! Click "Forgot Password?" to reset your password. From there, you'll need to verify your email address and we'll lead you through the process to get you back into your account. If you're having any further issues, please email us at info@mochidoki.com and we'll sort it out.

Only one Mochidoki Loyalty & Referral Program rewards account (“Account”) is permitted per person and you cannot transfer to another account or merge points between accounts.

First, make sure you're signed into your account prior to checking out. If after signing in, your points still aren’t visible when you’re checking out, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Once you sign back into your account, your points should be visible (please allow a few moments to load). If you continue to experience difficulties, you can reach out to us at info@mochidoki.com

PAYMENT

When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into 4 equal, biweekly installment payments—with 0% interest, no hidden or late fees, and no impact on your credit score.* In some instances, your first payment is due when you make your purchase; otherwise, your first payment is due 2 weeks after your purchase.

Your first payment will either be due at checkout or 2 weeks after your purchase. The next 3 remaining installments will be automatically charged to your card saved on Shop Pay every 2 weeks (you'll get an email reminder before each payment).

The installments option on Shop Pay is available on debit and credit cards.

No, there are no late fees if you miss a scheduled payment.

In the case of a total refund, the total amount paid will be returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days, and your balance will be updated.

If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, it might not lower your next payment. Instead, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both.

If your refund is more than your purchase balance, the difference will be returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.
