A Letter From Our Co-Founder: Chris Wong

Dear Friends, Family and Fans of Mochidoki, 

Happy New Year! It has been an absolute joy sharing our passion for delicious mochi ice cream with all of you. As Mochidoki’s co-founder, I want to take this opportunity to celebrate some of our achievements this year. All of which was only possible because of your continued support and belief in what we do. 

This has been a momentous and no doubt, eventful, year for Mochidoki and I’m always surprised by how quickly time passes when you’re making mochi. Our goal this year was to find ways to bring our mochi ice cream to more people in more places. With our first retail shop humming down in SoHo, we opened our second mochi ice cream shop in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.  The love that we’ve felt from the community has been amazing and we’re so happy to be a part of the neighborhood. 

To our fans who live a little farther away and have been patiently waiting for us to expand, I’m thrilled to share that we now ship nationwide! Now you can enjoy, or share Mochidoki regardless of where you are in the contiguous US. 

We’ve also set a record this year in the number of seasonal flavors launched. Inspired by food trends and ingredients from all over the world, we released seven new seasonals that truly highlight the versatility of mochi ice cream. From our Pandan Pistachio to Tumeric Hot Honey and even the Everything Bagel mochi, we’re having a blast exploring the possibilities and love sharing that with all of you. 

As we look forward to everything we’ve lined up for 2022, I’m filled with joy and excitement that we get to continue this journey together. Our passion for creating the best and only premium mochi ice cream continues to grow, so let’s keep this party going! We have big plans for the year, so be sure to stay tuned for what’s coming next.
