POO EMOJI MACAROONS AND ARTISANAL TWINKIES HEADED FOR NEW YORK'S FIRST DESSERT FESTIVAL

Poo emoji macaroons and pop-art-style paint-splattered chocolates are among the drool-worthy desserts to be showcased at New York City's first dessert festival.

The day-long Dessert Goals festival on 23 October will feature treats from across all five of New York City’s boroughs.

Vendors at the event include Macaron Parlour - whose sweet creations include the poo emoji and cartoon cat Pusheen – and Wowfulls with their Gai Dàn Jai Hong Kong egg waffles topped with icecream and fruit.
